PFC funds support many programs, including academic and enrichment programs, the school library and the computer labs, as well as provide needed equipment and supplies for use in classrooms. Our goal is to provide at least $200,000 in funding to the school each year. We raise our funds in several ways:
Donor Drive:
Every fall we have our main fundraising event, the donor drive, to raise money to support our school. We encourage you to get matching corporate funds whenever possible. Many employers will match their employees' charitable contributions, which increases the dollars you donate to us! Please check with your Human Resources department, and forward any paperwork to be signed by the PFC to the Donor Drive Co-Chairs. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 65-1164278.
Community Partnerships:
Throughout the year, we have events at retail establishments in which they dedicate a certain percentage of A.C. Stelle purchases on a specific day to be returned to our school. Also, just your regular shopping can earn money for our school. Check out the details.

Magazine Drive
At the start of the school year, students participate in a magazine drive, and the school receives 50% of all magazine sales. Parent volunteers assist in tabulating sales and in running various prize events.
Jog-a-thon:
Every spring we hold a Jog-a-Thon in which the students seek sponsors to run in an event on campus. Recently the math teachers have been the focus of the fundraising which really spurred competition and excitement leading to very effective fund raising.
Recycling:
MAKE A DIFFERENCE. RECYCLE YOUR EMPTY PRINTER CARTRIDGES
A.C. Stelle Middle School has an active printer cartridge recycling program. Empty printer cartridges can be recycled and reused many times. They can also be a way of earning additional funds for your school. Every year over 300 million cartridges end-up in over crowded landfills. Approximately 90% of these printer cartridges are recyclable but only 20% are being recycled. The success of recycling and waste reduction initiatives is one area where we can actually improve the well-being of our environment. Start by saving your own empty cartridges and by asking your friends and colleagues to do the same. Let everyone know about the school's recycling program and how important it is for the environment.
Please bring all your empty printer cartridges to the attendance office. You will see a cartridge recycling bin where you can drop-off your empty printer cartridges for recycling. Every cartridge you bring in helps our recycling efforts and generates additional funds towards school-based initiatives.
Please use the original packaging to protect the cartridges for recycling. Inkjet and laser toner cartridges can be packed in the original boxes. If the original boxes are not available, bubble-wrap, a plastic bag, or other packing material should be used to protect the cartridges.
