Alice C. Stelle Middle School is the most recent secondary school in Las Virgenes USD. Opened in 2004, we are situated on a sprawling campus, with beautiful new buildings, views and open space for students to enjoy the various opportunities we offer. We are the home of the Eagles, serving 850 students from our neighboring communities.

This year, we are proud to announce that we have been selected as a 2021 California Distinguished School. This recognition represents examples of not just excellent teaching, learning, and collaboration, but also highly successful, data-driven school efforts ranging from professional development to positive behavior intervention (CDE.ca.gov). According to State Superintendent Thurman, “These schools are great examples of California’s commitment to provide outstanding public education for all students, and their data-driven efforts have helped ensure that their students leave with the tools and skills they need to be successful after graduation.” In our short existence, we have been selected as a 2015 California Gold Ribbon School and A California Distinguished School in 2009, 2013, and 2021.

During the middle school years, students embark on a challenging adventure filled with development and change. We are dedicated to the goal of academic excellence, as well as the personal and social development of all students. We guide our students to become responsible citizens, effective communicators, cooperative workers, and critical thinkers so that they can reach their full academic potential. We foster a climate that is conducive to building character and to respecting the rights of others. The development of each child's self-worth and self-image is central to our mission, and will lead to the academic excellence we seek.
