Lost and Found

PERSONAL ITEMS:

Lost clothing is kept in drawers in the Attendance office. Small articles such as jewelry, wallets, etc. are kept in a small box in the attendance office. Students may claim their lost articles during the lunch period. When the student's name is in a book, it is sent to the student; otherwise, the book is returned to a teacher, department chairperson, or Library Media Center.

Responsibility for personal items cannot be assumed by the school. It is recommended that students only bring the amount of money they need for school purchases and never carry large amounts of cash.

To prevent loss of personal possessions each student is reminded to:

  • Lock and turn all combination locks.
  • Never leave backpacks or valuable possessions unattended. If a student leaves their backpack outside the PE locker, it is highly recommended that anything valuable be taken out of the backpack and secured in the PE locker.
  • Never share lockers or keys with any other student.

CONFISCATED ITEMS:

Any confiscated item will be returned to the parent if they come in to pick it up. Any illegal items or weapons are turned over to law enforcement. Any unclaimed items are donated to charity. Responsibility for confiscated items cannot be assumed by the school.
